The Guild of Sanitary, Heating and Air Conditioning Craft Berlin carries out an EU project in the innovation field of renewable energies since November 2008. The Guild of Sanitary, Heating and Air Conditioning Craft is working together with different European partners to develop the further education model “Specialist in renewable energies and technologies in sanitary, heating and air conditioning craft”.

Skilled workers in the Sanitary, Heating and Air Conditioning craft are active in a very important segment for the use of renewable energies. The crafts enterprises which install constructions and keep them in good condition, must consult customer-oriented and fall back on special knowledge as well as dependable empirical values.

Nevertheless, this seminal branch of industry shows an extreme shortage of soundly qualified skilled workers. It is the highest time increases on renewable energies to place. In particular skilled workers in the craft SHK must be informed about the complexity of rational energy use and to themselves an enlarged spectrum more possibly technologies acquire.
